Skyway Park Proposed Plan with Gateway Locations
This is the gateway concept designed by Pomegranate Center:
East Gateway Concept
The gateways are wood columns that will be artistically carved and stained with community members. The “cattails” are made of bent stainless steel.
We really like this concept because:
- It is flexible for each entrance. We can use any number of columns or spread the columns out to match the entrances.
- It has a placeholder for the community to put our own touch on it through the designs carved in the lower portion.
- The metal “cattails” reflect the wetlands in the park
